Frequently Asked Questions
When Applying to Live at Bridge
Before you Apply
How can we book a tour to view suites at Bridge?
Tours can be done virtually through FaceTime or in person, just ask your Leasing Specialist.
What size limit can we have for our dog/s? Is there a certain breed that is not allowed?
No size limit or restrictions on breeds. All dogs must be licenced, vaccinated and a pet behaviour agreement must be signed by pet owners. You may be asked to bring your pet in to meet the Property Management team at any time during the application and move-in process. There are only two pets per suite allowed at Bridge.
Are there floor plans with measurements available?
Yes. Just request them from your Leasing Specialist. We will also have a tape measure available during tours for your convenience to ensure proper furniture fitting.
Why do prices differ from one rental suite to the next?
The price for a suite depends on square footage, view, and which floor it is on.
Do you know the cost of utilities?
Bridge makes use of a modern, efficient Heat Pump technology to help reduce utility expenses. Every suite is individually metered, and residents pay only for what they use. You can read more about utilities at Bridge here.
There isn’t a parking stall available for me at Bridge. Where else can I park?
You can email miha.cujez@group-indigo.com at Indigo to learn about local nearby parking options. Let them know you live at Bridge, and they will apply a discount to your monthly cost of parking as part of our tenant program.
During Your Application Process
What information do I need to provide during the application process at Bridge?
During the application you will be asked to provide a valid photo I.D. (drivers licence or passport), 3 most recent pay stubs and bank statements if required. If you have pets, you will be asked to provide vaccination records and license/s for them.
When do I need to pay the deposit?
You will be asked to pay a first month’s rent and damage deposit after your application is approved. If you do not pay the deposit within three working days of your application being approved, the suite may be offered to another applicant.
How do I pay the deposit?
Zen Property Management will send you a link called “Rent Café”. This is where you can upload banking information or credit card. International banking works best when paying with Visa, MasterCard and AmEx or Debit Visa. In some cases, e-transfer or money orders can be accepted as payment.
After Your Rental Agreement is Signed
What utilities do I need to sign up for before moving in?
To set up water service to your rental suite, contact Metergy. For electricity service, sign-up with Enmax. Please advise your Leasing Specialist once you have set up your services.
Consider choosing a fixed-rate plan. Ask your energy provider for more information and stay informed about your energy choices by visiting the Alberta Utilities Commission website here.
What tenant insurance do I need to set up before moving in?
You must provide proof of $1,000,000 personal liability insurance. Please advise your Leasing Specialist once you have set up your services.
What internet provider should I choose?
Ask your Leasing Specialist about possible Telus discounts that come with your suite as part of Bridge’s tenant program.
What are my next steps after setting up utilities and insurance?
Now you’re ready to move in! Email Zen Property Management to set up a day and time for move-in. This will ensure you have elevator access and our team is ready to support you in a smooth first day at Bridge.
